Awareness

In just a couple of days Jacob will turn 10 months old.  It's just incredible how much he has grown and how much he has learned.  You can literally see him learning.  It's just fascinating that you can sit there and watch him as he figures out if he bangs two things together it makes a loud sound or that he can transfer an item from one hand to the other. His eyes light up when he discovers something new. I've also discovered Jacob is like his mommy.  He likes things the way he wants them.  He has a new toy and i moved one of the "people" and Jacob threw a tantrum until I put it back where he had it.  He also loves his uncle Matt (mostly because he throws him around) but Matt's been sick the last week so I forbade him from picking Jacob up.  Jacob was so happy to see Matt until he realized Matt was not going to throw him around and Jacob actually started to cry when he came to that realization.  He NEVER cries just to cry. The only time Jacob cries is when he's hungry or sleepy. So he's starting to express himself.  It's so cool, if not a little loud.

Although sometimes I think I want him to stay small for ever I love watching him grow.
