Baby's first bath! It took seven weeks but Jacob finally got his first bath. My poor baby has been waiting and waiting for his first bath. He did exceptionally well. We waited until he was awake and he handled it like a pro. Jacob didn't cry or desat (get low on his oxygen) during his bath. Mommy on the other hand was a nervous wreck. He's so little and so slippery when wet. The set up wasn't the best either, we had to bring in a tub and lay out the towels on a chair and then put him back in the isolette to dry him off and change him. I was afraid I was going to drop him the entire time. But mommy and baby made it through with flying colors. Too bad daddy didn't get to participate.
